Maryland Department of Environment and demolition contractor MCM Management Corporation representatives reported a maximum of 9000 tons of slag and other cementious material will be processed at Sparrows Point with the addition  of 5 mobile crushing plants under review for approval.

Process and migrant suppression dust concerns were addressed by  both MDE and MCM.

MDE has approved a calcium chloride based product application on trafficked areas to assist in the overall dust control regime. Wet suppression will be used primarily for process dust.

MCM reported all but one crushing plant will operate during usual business hours allowing operation for only one plant during evening hours.

A current plot of the cite status in a pdf file  is below denoting the buildings that have been demolished and those scheduled for demolition.

FHCA thanks MDE and MCM for the presentation.
