Many thanks to Madam Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio and Maryland Department of Environment Secretary Ben Grumbles  for providing   Fort Howard residents Fish Consumption Advisory  signs. 

In  February 7, 2019, the 7th District Civic Council of Baltimore County sent letters requesting fish advisory signage to Secretary Haddaway-Riccio, Secretary Grumbles, Dr. Brittingham of Baltimore County Environmental, Sustainability and  Protection,  the Baltimore County Council and Executive, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Blue Water Baltimore, and  Chesapeake Climate Action Network advising children may be  consuming carcinogenic PCB ladened fish catches unknowingly.

The Baltimore Sun Wilborn Nobles gave public notice in a his November 19, 2019 article.  

Again, on behalf of the children of Fort Howard and Baltimore County, Fort Howard Community Association most sincerely thanks Secretary Haddaway-Riccio and Secretary Grumbles for their leadership, and everyone’s  concerns for the health and welfare of our children.
